Congratulations to Peggie Gleeson who celebrates 5 years’ service this month!
Peggie started with the Amore Group 5 years ago heading up our Amore Complex Care division as the Home Care Manager, which at the time the division was in its infancy overseeing 10 person-centred care packages though today has grown to providing upwards of 12,000 hours of care and support weekly across the Northwest.
Peggie still remembers her interview with directors, Ian McDougall and Gareth Potsig, and the embarrassing moment her temporary old style Nokia phone rang mid-interview which neither her nor Ian had a clue how to turn off. Shortly after ringing again to tell her, she had got the job only moments later on the bus home!
Since that bus journey home, Peggie has applied her knowledge and expertise of having worked in the care sector for over 42 years in multiple roles at Amore including within recruitment, compliance and in her most recent role as Senior Complex Care Case Officer.
On recognition of her 5 years’ service, Peggie commented,
“I absolutely love working for Amore and plan to until my retirement! The continued support I receive from the directors and the team here is incredible. Here’s to many more years’ service!”
