Due to the award of new contracts and continued growth, Amore Complex Care has an exciting opening for a Complex Care Nurse to support our thriving established Complex Care team from our Runcorn office. The position will report to the Senior Management Team.
The Opportunity
Working alongside our experienced Complex Care Nurses, this is a multifaceted role that requires specialist skills with preferred experience in Tracheostomy, PEG, Catheter, Stoma and Paediatrics.
On each package, you will be working alongside a team of clinical support workers that work regularly with those we support. Building working relationships with our clinical support teams is an important aspect of the role and will help support in the delivery of meaningful and rewarding work, that makes a real difference to our clients lives and your career.
Your working hours will be 3/4 days per week 12 hour days , with regular office working.
In addition to understanding the complex clinical needs of each client, the candidate will also be supported to develop an understanding of how to navigate the health, education and social care systems that support each person.
Your Responsibilities
This is a regional role, where you will be based from our Runcorn office though will work mostly in the community, conducting weekly visits to our clients across the North West. The clinical clients we support are located in Merseyside, Cheshire, Greater Manchester and Lancashire.
As a registered nurse in complex care, you will have the skills of advanced clinical assessment, examination, diagnosis and treatment. Your expertise and clinical skills will be crucial in providing person-centred care and support to our clients within their own homes. You will be required to review and maintain client centred care plans and clinical documentation and maintain regular communication with our clients Multi-Disciplinary Teams. There will be an element of competency development for our support workers, and being part of a nurse-led team.
Additionally, the role includes assessing and reviewing individual care packages, providing practical supervision and instruction to our support workers, sharing your clinical expertise, and offering support to families, whilst delivering an outstanding quality of care to our clients.

What you need
- You will be a registered nurse with post qualification experience, with preferred experience of working within ITU, paediatrics and supporting individuals with clinical interventions.
- To succeed in this fast-paced role, you will need to be self-motivated, enthusiastic, caring, empathetic and compassionate.
- RGN with a valid NMC pin
