Amore Complex Care are looking for fun and outgoing support workers to support a young lady in her 20s, who has a diagnosis of autism. She loves music, and arts and crafts, and has a busy routine which involves being out in the community.
At the request of our client, this role is Female only.

Meet the person you’ll be supporting:
- Who am I? I am a young lady in my 20s.
- What activities do I do? I love listening to music (particularly brass music, which I play myself), singing, and dancing. I love all things performing arts and drama!
- What challenges do I have? I have learning disabilities, autism and epilepsy, which gives me challenges with my movement, and can affect my behaviour, which can sometimes be challenging towards people who support me.
- What activities do I do? I visit the cinema, and love a good pub lunch. I also enjoy visiting sensory rooms, as they are nice and quiet and help me relax. Noise can overwhelm me.
- What types of people do I get along with? People with good communication skills, who are outgoing and fun like me, I have a really good sense of humour. I would like staff to get on well with my family, who I spend lots of time with.
My team
- How many people support me at one time? I am supported by 2 staff at a time.
- What shift patterns do my team do? 8am - 8pm days.
- What are my team trained in? My staff will get a bespoke training course specifically to cover my needs.
Job responsibilities
- Assisting with goal-oriented activities and daily living skills.
- Monitor the service users physical and emotional well-being.
- Assisting with personal care.
- Supporting with sensory needs.
- Provide person-centred support.
- Support with household duties, such as cooking and cleaning.
- Assist the individual in developing and maintaining positive relationships in the community.
As a company we are unable to offer sponsorship for overseas candidates. Applicants must have proof of right to work in the UK. It is a requirement to provide an overseas police check dated within the last 3 months of being in the UK; if you have been outside of the UK for longer than a year in the last 10 years.
