Amore Complex Care are looking for energetic support workers to support a gentleman in his 40s, who loves to get out into his local community and engage with the people supporting him.

Meet the person you'll be supporting
- What challenges do I have? I have autism and physical disabilities, so I use a wheelchair and other physical aids to move around.
- What are my aspirations? I love all the activities I do as part of my regular routines, and I am looking for new, engaging support workers to help me to continue to get out into the community.
- What sorts of people do I get on with? I love to be engaged, in all sorts of different ways - no matter what we are doing - if you're having fun, I'm having fun.
- What activities do I do? I have a vehicle which staff can use to take me to my regular activities, such as a local disco, swimming classes,
- How would I describe myself? I am caring, energetic, and fun to spend time with. I can also get anxious quite quickly, and when this happens I can present behaviours that challenge.
My team
- How many staff support me? I have 2 staff supporting during the day, and 1 overnight.
- What shift patterns do my team do? 12 hour days.
Job responsibilities
- Assisting with Autism through goal-oriented activities and daily living skills.
- Monitor the service users physical and emotional well-being.
- Assisting with personal care.
- Supporting with sensory needs.
- Provide person-centred support.
- Support with household duties, such as cooking and cleaning.
- Assist the individual in developing and maintaining positive relationships in the community.
As a company we are unable to offer sponsorship for overseas candidates. Applicants must have proof of right to work in the UK. It is a requirement to provide an overseas police check dated within the last 3 months of being in the UK; if you have been outside of the UK for longer than a year in the last 10 years.
