Amore Complex Care are looking for fun and outgoing support workers to support a young man in his 30s, who has a diagnosis of cerebral palsy and autism.

Key Job Role Information
Location- Palacefields
Salary - £13.84 (inclusive of holiday entitlement)
Shifts – Monday, Tuesday & Friday - 0900-2400 with an hour gap between 1600-1700 (14hr days) Wednesday and Thursday - 0800-2300- 15hr days- uni and work, Saturday and Sunday- 1000-2400- 14 hr days

- Competent verbal and written English
- Must have experience within health and social care settings
Meet the person you’ll be supporting:
- Who am I? I am a young sociable male in my 30's
- What activities do I do? I am currently studying a Politics and Sociology degree at University and I work one day a week. I need my staff to attend these commitments with me and engage throughout and occasionally make some notes.
- What challenges do I have? I use a ceiling track hoist and require full support with my mobility, I am also non-verbal but I am very good with my eye gaze machine so communicate using this.
- What activities do I do? I am very sociable and love get out with my friends but require support to do this, sometimes I may want to go out for a drink with friends after University or at weekends. I am a Liverpool FC Fan, and have some holidays booked for next year that I would like my staff to join me on.
- What types of people do I get along with? People with good communication skills, who are outgoing and fun, I have a good sense of humour and my friends are really important to me. I want my staff to bring out the best in me and help me fulfil my goals.
MY TEAM
- How many people support me at one time? I am supported by 1 staff
- What shift patterns do my team do? Monday, Tuesday & Friday - 0900-2400 with an hour gap between 1600-1700 (14hr days) Wednesday and Thursday - 0800-2300- 15hr days- uni and work, Saturday and Sunday- 1000-2400- 14 hr days
- What are my team trained in? My staff will get a bespoke training course specifically to cover my needs.
