2024 Macmillan Coffee Morning
You’ve helped us raised over £800!
It really doesn’t feel like it’s been two weeks already. It made our day to see everyone happy and chatting – just look at that big round smile from one of our clients!
Seeing our clients, support teams and local community come along was so rewarding. Some of our service users munched on cake, a lot of chatting was going on, and we had stiff competition among them for our Bake-Off winner.
Safe to say, they ate a lot of it too!
Our office staff got involved hands-on, from decorating to organising (special shout-out to our Coffee Morning leading lady, Peggie Gleeson)!
To all the new faces we said hello to, it was great to meet you! Talking to our local community, as well as those who use our service and work with us, is one of the most rewarding parts of our job.
Best of all, by coming along, you’ve all helped spread the word about Macmillan Cancer Support and all the valuable work they do for those living with cancer. Not to mention, with everybody’s support, we’ve managed to raise over £800 for the cause!
