Celebrating Peggie’s 8 Years Of Service

Peggie Gleeson celebrates her 8 years at Amore this month, and we couldn’t be prouder of her commitment to care!

Between her day-to-day role overseeing quality assurance, her contributions to Everton in the Community’s Blue Base Pantry, organising charity drives and events at the office such as our Coffee Morning later this month, the wellbeing of people is always at the top of her mind.

She is very well-loved in the office for it – just look at all those balloons our staff have scattered around to celebrate!

Peggie joined us 8 years ago as the Home Care Manager for our Amore Complex Care division. Back then, the division was just starting out, managing 10 person-centred care packages. Today, it has grown to deliver over 12,000 hours of care and support every week across the Northwest!

Peggie still fondly recalls her interview with directors Ian McDougall and Gareth Potsig—and the hilarious moment her old Nokia phone rang mid-interview! Neither she nor Ian knew how to stop it. As it happens, it rang again on her bus ride home with the news that she had landed the job!

With over 44 years of experience in the care sector, Peggie has made a lasting impact at Amore. From recruitment and compliance to her current role where she oversees quality assurance and improvement, she excels in every area she tackles.

Thank you, Peggie, for your incredible contributions over the past 8 years. We’re so grateful for your hard work and passion!
