We’ve raised over £1400 for Alder Hey Children’s Charity!
Raising over £1400 for Alder Hey Children’s Charity is no small feat, and we have done it by scaling a mountain that is over 1000 feet tall!
We are so proud of the Amore team (and wider friends and family members!) that joined us on the Snowdon climb, as well as the people who donated and those who spread the word.
Our Mobilisation Support Manager, Louis Benfield, was the person to suggest the idea of us making the climb and took the lead in organising the journey.
We couldn’t be happier with what we’ve raised, what our staff and supporters have accomplished and how Louis has managed it all. Judging from his face, he’s more than a little pleased!
The story of the Ranger Path with its initial steep section, the following scramble and the slightly terrifying weather conditions at the peak is a long one. Everyone at the office has been bragging to their friends and family about having conquered the Snowdon mountain.
Even so, we think the reason behind it is the most important thing. Alder Hey’s Children Charity provides the funds and support necessary for the paediatric research, medical machinery and the play equipment that Alder Hey is known for.
Many of our staff have personal experience with Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, knowing not only their life-saving statistics but also having experienced their caring and friendly environment for themselves.
Once again, thank you to all our walkers, supporters and to Alder Hey Children’s Charity themselves. You provide the means for young people to live fulfilled, happy and healthy lives.
