Congratulations to Glen Holmes!
With there being so much negativity around currently, it was great to hear some positive news today!
Glen Holmes has been with the Amore Group for over 4 years, and last August started a temp to perm placement, supporting a residential service with children and young people with challenging behaviours.
Fast forward 14 months, and last week Glen received the fantastic news that he has been successful in his interview for the Deputy Manager position at the service. This will involve him overseeing the overall management of one of the service’s residential properties.
Glen has been supporting health and social care services for over 18 years, supporting a variety of different care services in this time. His career in health and social care started following a fishing trip with his friend where a child nearby to them fell into the canal who could not swim. This led to Glen becoming a volunteer with social services and completing swimming lessons with the child.
Whilst also completing his full-time position at the children and young person residential service, Glen continues to support the Amore Group in other placements which we are extremely grateful for.
