National Apprenticeship Week 2022

This week marks National Apprenticeship Week, highlighting the positive impact that apprenticeships can have on both the individual completing them and the company that they will be supporting.

Jessica Connor initially started with the Amore Group in October 2021 completing her traineeship with the company.

After completing the traineeship, Jess began a Business Administration apprenticeship with the company in December 2021 which she will be completing over a course of 12 months. During this time Jess will be completing various projects to support her career development as she works towards her Business Administration qualification.

On recently starting her apprenticeship, Jess commented,

“I am really enjoying working with the Amore Group. First completing my traineeship before progressing into completing an apprenticeship with the company. Sue has been a fantastic mentor and continues to be throughout in helping me to develop the skills and knowledge required for my future career.”

Jess has been part of our Training and Compliance Department, overseen by our Training and Compliance Manager, Sue Bromilow. In her role, Jess actions all training requests for both new and existing staff where training has expired, and refresher training is required. Sue comments,

“Jess is an integral part of the Training & Compliance team, she has a great work ethic and has picked the role up showing real professionalism.”

We are delighted to have Jess as part of the team and wish her the best of luck as she continues her apprenticeship with us.
